These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Jim Martins’s Website, located at https://jimmartins.co.uk. Sculptor Jim Martins can be contacted by email. Questions will be answered promptly.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions.

Sales are made on First-come First-serve basis

Once an order has been received it will be dispatched. I will update availability when once again created. If you want to order this work, please email me your interest and I will reply with dispatch date. Usually a week is needed to complete work.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PURCHASE

Each of these works for sale are signed and hand made ,therefore the final appearance is always unique and may not be exactly as photographed and will vary slightly.

After 26 years of sculpting hundreds of pieces I set a high standard and will not allow anything to leave my workshop unless I am satisfied that it is of a high standard and will live up to my sculptural reputation.

Any purchases from this site are made with this agreement and understanding. Thank you for your interest in my work. Jim

DELIVERY

Delivery is included in the price for the mainland UK and will sent by courier on “Next working day” agreement. The courier is responsible for this.

Any orders outside of the UK will be charged accordingly, please contact me and I will make enquiries with my courier. It would be possible to arrange pick up and delivery yourself if you prefer. Contact me by email prior to purchase.

Any returns are to be at the buyers expense. If appropriate, a refund will be given, however, refunds will only be given if item is damaged in transit or below assured quality.

Please note: each work is photographed before packing and inspected for defects prior to sending.

NOTES ON MATERIALS AND MAINTENANCE

Stone Carvings
These sculptures are hand carved in stone, created in my workshop, and are good to be displayed both indoors or outside. There will be some natural change in appearance over time but they will last in good condition for generations. No maintenance is required other than light dusting, do not use scouring material, solvents, or oils on them as this will mark the stone.

Note: rain water on stone will evaporate away when dry, let it do so naturally.

Castings
These works are cast from original creations I have made, they are of a strong durable casting material that will be good to display indoors and outside. Just dusting or a light wash with water if required. If outside, a small colour change may occur depending on conditions and time.

Each plaque has a copper hanging wire on the back.

Stainless steel on slate
These plaques are good to display indoors or outside, both materials are long lasting and if there is any dulling of the shine on the stainless steel, a light buffing with a mild metal cleaner will bring it back to standard. If the slate looses its darkness and you are concerned, a little WD40 on a rag will replace it. However, indoors they will need little maintenance.

Supplied with these plaques is a pack of stainless steel screws with black plastic caps to hide screw-head giving a clean and tidy appearance.

Insurance Liability

As these are singular sculptures they are seen individually as such and are protected by my insurance until they leave my premises. Any damage or theft etc after they leave is the responsibility of the new owner. If outside courier services are used it is recommended that added insurance is also included relating to the value of the item. If an arrangement is made for Jim Martins to transport the sculpture to another location additional insurance should also be considered. If items are sent by mail the same consideration should be made to additional cover.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Jim Martins and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Jim Martins – Sculptor. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Jim Martins – Sculptor for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Republish material from Jim Martins – Sculptor
  • Sell, rent or sub-license material from Jim Martins – Sculptor
  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Jim Martins – Sculptor

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
